Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cliptext platform operated at cliptext.ai. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Cliptext provides automated transcription of audio and video recordings using AI technology. The service includes file upload, transcription processing, team collaboration features, and export capabilities.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may register using email/password or through Google or Seznam.cz OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload content that violates any laws or third-party rights, use the service for illegal surveillance or unauthorized recording, attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform, share account credentials with unauthorized parties, or exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the service.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your uploaded content and transcription results. We do not claim ownership of your data. We do not use your content to train AI models. The Cliptext name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property.
5. Pricing & Payments
Usage is billed monthly based on transcription minutes consumed. Prices are displayed on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice. Free tier minutes are provided for new accounts.
6. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
8. Limitation of Liability
Cliptext is provided "as is". We are not liable for transcription accuracy, data loss due to circumstances beyond our control, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in the Czech Republic.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
